Islamabad: The death toll in a bomb blast at a mosque in Peshawar, Pakistan’s northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has risen to 92 today. On the other hand, the police in its initial report on the explosion said that the explosion took place at 1:15 PM in the mosque of Police Lines Peshawar where 300 to 350 people could offer prayers.

The police report said that after the explosion, the roof of the mosque collapsed, a total of 63 bodies and 157 injured were pulled from the rubble. On this occasion, the Prime Minister had said that the terrorists are trying to create an atmosphere of fear and terror by attacking the institutions responsible for the defense of Pakistan, but they will fail with the strength of the unity of the state and the people. The Prime Minister strongly condemned the blast and said that those who shed the blood of the citizens unjustly will be made a lesson.

In the report of the news agency ‘APP’, according to the Turkish news agency, the Foreign Office said in its statement that as a result of this terrorist attack targeting the Police Lines Mosque in Peshawar, heavy casualties and many people were injured. It has been said in the statement that we strongly condemn this terrorist attack, he expressed his condolences to the families and people of the people who died in the attack and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
