Transferring chat data without Google Drive
WhatsApp is testing a new feature that will enable data transfer from one Android phone to another via Wi-Fi.
This feature will eliminate the need for Google Drive to transfer data.
This new feature will not only make the process of transferring chat data easier but also speed up the process.
Blocking someone on WhatsApp will also become easier
Very soon users will be able to block someone through push notifications.
That means there will be no need to open the app or the chat of that person.
But with this new feature it will be possible to block only those WhatsApp users who are not in your contact list.
So whenever you receive a WhatsApp message notification from an unknown person, you will be able to block it.
WhatsApp status posting facility
The facility of setting audio status will be provided to the users by WhatsApp very soon.
With this feature, users will be able to record voice notes and post them as statuses instead of text.
Voice Status requires recording of 30 seconds or less of audio.
These voice statuses will automatically disappear after 24 hours of being posted or the user can delete them at any time.
New text editor
WhatsApp is planning to introduce a new text editor.
Basically it will be a tool with 3 new features out of which one option will allow users to switch to different fonts.
Similarly, they can change the text alignment while it will also be possible to change the background color of the text.
Sending original quality photos
WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will allow users to send original quality images in the chat.
If the image is sent in original quality, users will use a lot of data, so forget about sending original quality image from mobile data, Wi-Fi is mandatory for this.
