New York (Monitoring Desk) For 2023, Japan’s passport has been declared the most powerful passport in the world. According to Daily Pakistan Global, the list of the best passports for the year 2023 has been released by Manley Passport Index, according to which Japan’s passport has been declared the number one, with 193 countries offering visa-free entry.
In this list, Pakistani passport is at number 106 out of 109, on which only 8 countries provide visa-free entry, while only 36 countries provide visa-on-arrival facilities. In the best passports, Singapore and South Korea are second, Germany and Spain are third, and Finland, Italy and Luxembourg. They are on the fourth place.
Australia, Denmark, Holland and Sweden are fifth in this list, France, Ireland, Portugal and Great Britain are in sixth place. Similarly, Belgium, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland and United States are in seventh place, Australia, Canada, Malta are in eighth place. And the passports of Greece, Hungary and Poland in ninth place and Lithuania and Slovakia in tenth place are named as the most powerful.
India is at the 85th position in the list, with 59 countries offering visa-free entry to its passport. Pakistan is at the third position from the bottom of the list. Pakistan is followed by Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan among the weakest passports. Afghanistan’s passport has been described as the weakest in the world.
