Ottawa: Renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel is currently on a visit to Canada and has been admitted to a hospital there after suffering a heart attack. According to Maulana Tariq Jameel’s son, he is absolutely fine. Maulana Tariq Jameel’s son Yusuf Jameel said in a video statement on the YouTube channel, “There was news of trouble but it is not now.” Maulana Tariq Jameel is in Canada and had a heart attack today.
Yusuf Jameel said, “Due to chest pain, he was transferred to the hospital and his procedure was completed successfully and at this time he is completely fine but still in the hospital.” Yusuf Jameel said in the statement that “Baba John is currently in Canada and has been shifted to the hospital due to cardiac arrest.”
He said that “by the grace of Allah, his condition is much better now, I request prayers from all my friends, May Allah grant the respected father perfect health.” In the video message, the son of Maulana Tariq Jameel prayed. “They are away from home, we are here and there, which is a bit of a worry, but by the grace of God, they are fine,” he said.
Maulana Tariq Jameel was also shifted to the hospital on January 1, 2019, allegedly suffering from a heart condition, where his condition improved after an angioplasty. Sources said that Maulana Tariq Jameel had complained of heart pain due to which he was shifted to a private hospital in Johar Town in Lahore where he underwent angiography.
Maulana Tariq Jameel’s spokesperson Tahir Rahimi had said that Maulana had undergone a stent due to a blocked heart artery. The spokesperson had confirmed that Maulana Tariq Jameel had a heart attack due to which he was brought to the hospital.
