But this is not Sania Mirza, who made her name in the world of tennis, but she is the daughter of a TV mechanic from Jessore, a small village in the Mirzapur district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. She became India’s first Muslim woman fighter pilot and the state’s first woman fighter pilot.
According to India Times, Sania Mirza ranked 149th in the NDA exam and was selected as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force. Sania’s father’s name is Shahid Ali. Sania got admission in Guru Nanak Girls Inter College Mirzapur after class 10 and topped district level in Uttar Pradesh Board in class 12.
After passing her twelfth, Sania started her training at Centurion Defense Academy. The National Defense Academy had a total of 400 seats in the 2022 exam. Among them only 19 seats were for women and among them only 2 were for women fighter pilots. To get 1 of these 2 seats, Sania Mirza fought hard and succeeded with her hard work.
