ASI officials said that we have been sent notices for filling property tax for the months of July and October, it seems to have been done by mistake as monumental buildings are exempted from tax.

He said that the Taj Mahal is not even authorized to pay the water bill as the water is used only for the maintenance of greenery, not on commercial basis. 5 crore has been directed to be paid. Agra Fort was built by Mughal Emperor Akbar, it is two and half kilometers away from Taj Mahal.

The ASI official said that the two monumental buildings are in cantonment areas but are exempted from tax, the notices were sent by mistake. Municipal officials said that a private company was hired to collect the tax but the incident is under investigation. are being done.
