Three attackers were killed in a raid on a Chinese-speaking hotel in Kabul

Kabul (Web Desk) Security forces under the control of the Taliban in Afghanistan have killed three attackers who stormed the famous Maskan hotel of Chinese citizens in the capital Kabul.

According to al-Arabiya, Taliban government spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed the attack in Kabul and said that the attack is now over and no foreigners were killed in the incident. However, two people jumped from the hotel balcony in an attempt to escape the attack. and they fell down and got injured. Kabul Police Spokesman Khalid Zadran said that armed men attacked the hotel on Monday around 2:30 PM local time and civilians were staying in it.

In a video posted on Twitter by a journalist based in Kabul, smoke can be seen coming from a multi-storey building and a lower floor is on fire. Residents of the area say that the attack It was conducted at a building where Chinese and other foreigners usually live. They reported hearing a loud explosion and said that later the shooting started.

A day before the attack, the Chinese ambassador in Kabul met with the Afghan deputy foreign minister and discussed security issues with him and requested him to pay more attention to the security of his embassy. China’s official news agency Xinhua reported. The attack took place near a Chinese guest house and its embassy in Kabul is closely monitoring the situation. The Chinese embassy did not immediately issue a statement.

Afghanistan has seen a number of bombings and shootings in recent months, some of which have been claimed by the hardline militant group Daesh.
