
Riyadh (Daily Pakistan Online) Chinese President Xi Jinping and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met in the Saudi capital Riyadh, in which trade agreements worth 30 billion dollars were signed.
According to the private TV channel “Dawn News”, the two countries have signed cooperation agreements in other fields including energy and infrastructure. Xi Jinping and Prince Mohammed bin Salman met at Yamama Palace. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the agreements reached between the two countries include an agreement on hydrogen, while aligning Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and China’s multi-trillion dollar “Belt and Road” project. Agreements were also signed.
According to the report, other projects include a petrochemical project, a residential construction project and a Chinese language education project in Saudi Arabia. However, the Saudi Press Agency did not provide further details. Ko was shown welcoming Xi Jinping, after which the two leaders stood side by side, with bands playing the national anthems of both countries.
According to the official media, during the visit to Saudi Arabia, Xi Jinping also met with the father of Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the 86-year-old King of Saudi Arabia.
