A very innocent wish of the bride that the police had to be called to fulfill

New Delhi (Monitoring Desk) In the so-called democratic country of India, the social condition of the minorities and the lower caste Hindus is such that they cannot even get married with fanfare due to the fear of the upper caste Hindus. Recently, in the marriage of a Dalit (lower caste Hindu) boy and girl, the bride wished that her procession should come with a good Baje Wajay. To fulfill this wish of his, such a heavy police force had to be deployed that you will be stunned to hear.

According to the Times of India, the wedding was taking place in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh state, where the 21-year-old bride Raveena asked her groom Ramakrishna to bring the baraat with great fanfare. The problem, however, was that the upper caste Hindus in the region imposed numerous restrictions on the lower castes, including one that said the lower castes would not celebrate marriages or any celebrations in public.

Ramakrishna arranges for Band Baje to fulfill his bride’s wish and Raveena’s father applies to the police to protect them in the area. On his request, the Superintendent of Police appointed an inspector, 14 sub-inspectors and 40 constables for the security of this procession. According to the report, the bride and groom were also given an omen of 11 thousand rupees by the police.
