According to private TV Express News, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said that the decision of 5 years of tax exemption on the import of Pakistani rice to Azerbaijan is the result of the discussions held in 2 meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif when we received high quality rice from our brother country. Why should we import rice from another place if we can get it?
Ilham Aliyev said that Gwadar port provides a great opportunity to connect the region, connecting this port with our infrastructure is not a big deal, connecting the region will create new opportunities for trade, but for this, all countries will get President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev called Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan as brothers and close friends while addressing the international seminar on Geopolitics, Security and Environment held along the Central Corridor.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in a tweet that he is grateful to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan for the approval of tax exemption on Pakistani rice.
