Paris (from Akif Ghani Malik) A grand and dignified ceremony was organized in Paris, the capital of France, regarding Iqbal Day, Pakistani Ambassador Asim Iftikhar participated as a special guest.
According to the details, prominent political and business personalities Sardar Zahoor Iqbal, Raja Ali Asghar, Chaudhry Yasir Mardan and Kashmiri leader Chaudhry Naeem performed the duties of hosting the event regarding Iqbal Day. While the representatives of all the political, social and business parties of the Pakistan community in France participated in the event.
The program was started with the recitation of Holy Quran and Naat of Rasool Maqbool, after which the national anthems of Pakistan and France were played. ﷺ presented.
Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, the Chief Guest and recently appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to France, congratulated the organizers of the event for organizing such a beautiful event. Ambassador of Hakistan Asim Iftikhar said that Iqbal’s message was not only for the people of that time but also for future generations, there is a message in Iqbal’s poetry for the conscious and freedom-loving people of every era. And such a beautiful ceremony regarding Iqbal and the gathering of representatives of all schools of thought of the community under one roof is a very wonderful and unique way of paying tribute to Iqbal. Ambassador Asim Iftikhar further said that I want to appreciate the services of your people and assure you that you will never have any problem in communicating with the Ambassador of Pakistan and other officials regarding the community issues. Better suggestions, support and guidance will be needed from you, we will further improve the consular section in the light of your suggestions.
