The new CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, Twitter has prepared to make the payment system a part of its platform.
According to global media reports, Elon Musk discussed making the payment system part of the social media network during a live stream on November 9.
He said that Twitter’s payment system will be linked to bank accounts and debit cards.
On behalf of Twitter, the documents in this regard were submitted to the Department of Financial Crimes Enforcement Network of the US Department of Treasury in the past few days.
Elon Musk said that with the Twitter Blue subscription plan, users will be able to use the platform for payments and send money to each other.
He added that users will be able to link their bank accounts to Twitter and in the next phase we will provide them with more features while adding debit cards and checks.
Keep in mind that Elon Musk has also been the co-founder of the well-known service PayPal and knows a lot about such payment systems.
